TIMELINE
6 months
Users can access personal health history and medical and healthcare professionals, make appointments with a doctor, search for health-related activities, and purchase items such as gadgets, accessories & clothing.
PROBLEM
Many users suffer from visual impairment and need voice assistance while using an APP. They struggle to find their medical exams and history and have difficulties accessing hospitals and can not get out of their homes to do their exams.
SOLUTION
An App that has voice guidance at all moments. Will keep all history
and medical reports accessible to worldwide doctors and hospitals.
Users will have the option of doctor home assistance and having online consultations/monitoring & check-ups through medical devices.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
and UX ANALYSIS
I looked for HEALTH APPS for the visually impaired, blind, and users, that
need assistance achieving their tasks. There wasn’t any competition!
So I analyzed two medical health apps and one shop app to find its “Prompts”
and “Points of Friction” to see what I could use and implement in the different
sections of our future medical Health related App.
After analyzing them, I knew what they
were lacking, and what we couldn’t miss in ours.
Doctors’ cards should have more information for the users, including their gender, and should contain big readable fonts. Minimize workload, add audio guidance, and add wearable applications. An App that comes in many languages and even tells you the languages that your doctors speak.
I should create a filter with much more options and users should be able to add Doctors to their favorites.
An app that is Accessible through gadgets such as the I-watch from Apple and has connectivity to the Apple feature “Medical ID”, which is a complete profile of your
primary medical records and beneficial to first responders or paramedics.
To have a connection to audio platforms such as Siri, Alexa, and similar.
For security and to keep all your data and privacy secure, implementation
of a password and or Face ID to enter the app.
An App where you could go back and forth and not get lost
I created surveys and interviews

Places aren’t prepared for visually impaired people.

FRUSTRATION:
The user feels frustrated when visiting a health clinic because of their visual
impairment.

I find out that they need to be guided
directions to clinics and to the doctor’s office door.
FRUSTRATION:
User’s medical records get lost and
aren’t together in the same place.
NEEDS:
I find out that they need to have all their medical information together for easy access.
