Guided Directions for the Visually Impaired: Enhancing the Health App Experience

Providing Accessibility and Support for Medical Directions

To address the stress and difficulties visually impaired patients face when traveling to medical appointments and navigating healthcare facilities, I added a feature to my health app. This feature allows doctors to input and transfer medical directions into the app, which can then read them out loud or display them in braille. This way, the visually impaired can access and retain the medical directions and feel more confident in managing their health.
